Tribal Reconciliation in Sana’a Settles Homicide Dispute Between Al-Ja’far and Al-Wasabi Families

Sana'a:A tribal reconciliation was reached in Sana'a today, resolving a homicide dispute between the Al-Ja'far family from Kahlan Afar District, Hajjah Governorate, and the Al-Wasabi family from Wasab District, Dhamar Governorate. According to Yemen News Agency, the reconciliation was led by Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Shahari and Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Akhfash, with the presence of Kahlan Afar District Director Saddam Al-Madoumi. During the proceedings, Sheikh Fuad Al-Ja'far, representing the victim Khalil Jubran Al-Ja'far's family, announced a pardon for the perpetrator, Arif Abdu Mahasin, citing the gesture as being made for the sake of Allah and in respect for those present. The pardon was described as embodying Yemeni tribal principles and traditions, honoring the intercessors, and aligning with the call of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi for tolerance and unity among Yemen's tribes. Sheikh Ibrahim Al-Shahari praised the Al-Ja'far family's decision, highlighting it as a fulfillment of the Leader of the Revol ution's directives for reconciliation and tribal cohesion, which are crucial in confronting external threats targeting the nation. Sheikh Humair Al-Aini, speaking for the Al-Wasabi family, commended the Al-Ja'far family's magnanimous act, which reflected Yemeni tribal values and responded positively to calls for unity against the Saudi enemy. He emphasized that the reconciliation fosters a culture of tolerance and brotherhood amidst national challenges like aggression and blockade, acknowledging the victories achieved by the Armed Forces, particularly the West Coast liberation. The attending sheikhs expressed gratitude for efforts in mediating the dispute, emphasizing the importance of national unity against external aggression. They urged prioritizing national interests, resolving disputes, and maintaining a united front against the Saudi enemy and its allies. The meeting was attended by various officials and tribal leaders, including Aqeel Humaidan, Ali Al-Azab, Colonel Hizam Marsh, Abdulkarim Sa'sa'ah, a nd others.
