Taiz:The Acting Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bakhiti, has called upon local, regional, and international media outlets, as well as activists, to visit Taiz Governorate. He urged them to conduct field investigations, observe the situation in the city firsthand, and verify the false and misleading claims that a siege has been imposed on the city by the "Government of Change and Construction."
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Bakhiti explained that the Ministry has previously expressed its readiness to facilitate visits to Taiz for media outlets and other interested parties, pledging to remove any obstacles they might encounter so that they can gain a close-up view of the situation on the ground.
He emphasized that allegations regarding a siege imposed on Taiz by the Government of Change and Construction are entirely false and fabricated, noting that the Governor of Taiz has previously stated that the roads under the government's control remain open and secure.
