Sanaa: Director General of the Traffic Police Major General Dr. Bakil al-Barashi, accompanied by Assistant Commander of the Ibb Axis Brigadier General Majid al-Ayani, and Director of Ibb Traffic Colonel Mohammed Atef, inspected the designated locations for traffic police service centers on the Ibb-al-Jarahi-Hodeida road.

According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Barashi emphasized that this visit to the Ibb Rural District Directorate is part of the Traffic Police's ongoing development plan. This initiative follows the successes of traffic police service centers along the major routes connecting the capital, Sana'a, with other governorates.

He highlighted that the proposed centers were chosen based on specific criteria, given that the Ibb-al-Jarahi road is a crucial route connecting central governorates to Hodeida, experiencing significant traffic, particularly from trucks.

Al-Barashi noted that the establishment of traffic police stations along this route aims to provide essential humanitarian services to road users, enhance traffic safety, and reduce accidents, thereby safeguarding lives and property.

Assistant Commander of the Ibb Axis, Brigadier General Majid al-Ayani, commended the efforts and progress made by the traffic police in improving road safety and protecting citizens' property.
