Al-bayda: The General Authority for Water Resources in Al-Bayda province organized a cultural and oratory evening to celebrate the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, the event was attended by notable figures including Ahmed Al-Akkam, Yasser Idris Al-Shariya, Walid Rabi' Muhammad Al-Aidrous, and Ahmed Al-Qabli. The Director of the General Authority for Water Resources in the governorate, Muhammad Al-Mansouri, spoke about the significance of commemorating the Prophet's birthday. He emphasized it as an opportunity to embrace values such as dignity, honor, patience, and steadfastness in truth while confronting the enemies' conspiracies.
Al-Mansouri stressed the importance of making the Prophet's birthday an annual occasion to reflect on the Prophet's life and mission. He highlighted the new era marked by justice, equality, and moral principles, rejecting oppression, slavery, racism, humiliation, and submission.
Several speakers at the event reiterated the importance of this occasion for Yemenis, emphasizing their commitment to celebrating it as a symbol of their connection with the Prophet (peace be upon him). They noted that the widespread participation in such events sends a unifying message against attempts to erase the nation's religious identity.
