Al-Sadda Organizes Comprehensive Preparatory Activities for Prophet’s Birthday Celebrations

Al-sadda: The local authority and general mobilization in Al-Sadda district, Ibb, organized a wide-ranging meeting today, chaired by the deputy governor Ali Al-Noua'a, as part of the preparatory activities for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthday.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting reviewed the roles of executive office officials, mobilization officers, and local tribal and community leaders in field outreach, awareness, and mobilization for the occasion. It highlighted coordination among local leadership, government offices, and mobilization teams to implement celebrations, street decoration, and cleanliness campaigns. The deputy governor emphasized the spiritual and moral significance of the celebration and urged intensified efforts for the main event on the 12th of Rabi' al-Awwal, framing it as a message of resistance and support for the Palestinian cause.

The district director Mohammed Al-Darwani underscored the need for joint efforts to ensure widespread participation across villages and neighborhoods, reflecting the Yemeni people's love for the Prophet.

In addition, the local Zakat Authority branch organized a cultural event, where officials highlighted the importance of reviving Prophetic values of solidarity, brotherhood, and cooperation, and encouraged active community participation. The event included speeches stressing the moral and ethical dimensions of the Prophet's life, urging attendees to celebrate with joy and uphold Islamic principles.

Two evening programs were also held in the district: one in Al-Tuwaiti area and another covering Bani Al-'Uthmani and lower Bani Al-Harith areas. Speakers emphasized that the commemoration is a reaffirmation of faith, morality, and the prophetic model, inspiring lessons in resilience, unity, and adherence to divine guidance. They also connected the celebration to contemporary challenges, highlighting the struggle against global oppression and the importance of maintaining the Yemeni people's spiritual and cultural identity.

The activities brought together local and executive leaders, community elders, and prominent figures, with speeches, religious references, and discussions aimed at fostering moral awareness, community cohesion, and active engagement with the Prophet's legacy.
