Sana'a:President Mahdi Al-Mashat of the Supreme Political Council extended his congratulations to Iraq, including its leadership, government, people, resistance, and religious authority, on the significant achievement of the withdrawal of US and foreign forces from its territory. This event is recognized as a national victory following the thwarting of external ambitions and objectives by the steadfast will of the Iraqi people in their pursuit of freedom, sovereignty, and independence.
According to Yemen News Agency, President Al-Mashat, in a congratulatory message, highlighted that this development comes after over two decades characterized by invasion, occupation, and domination. This period involved significant challenges for the Iraqi people, including oppression, division, exploitation of resources, and widespread destruction and suffering.
President Al-Mashat described this milestone as a reflection of the Iraqi people's unwavering resistance and substantial sacrifices. He emphasized that it underscores their fundamental right to sovereignty, independence, and self-determination.
