Al-Bayda Executive Office Commends Yemeni Forces’ Successes Against Saudi Forces

Al-Bayda:The Executive Office of Al-Bayda Governorate has expressed its commendation for the victories achieved by the Yemeni armed forces over Saudi forces and their military buildup. During a meeting, Governor Abdullah Idris highlighted that the September 21 Revolution represents the Yemeni people's quest for freedom, independence, and liberation from foreign control.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting applauded the Yemeni armed forces for their achievements on the battlefield, including what was described as the establishment of new deterrence equations against Saudi forces. The operations targeting enemy deployments on the western coast, the liberation of Bab al-Mandab, and Yemeni islands were particularly commended.

The meeting also evaluated the performance of executive offices, focusing on their developmental and service activities amidst ongoing challenges. Emphasis was placed on enhancing mobilization, training, and preparedness to support the armed forces.

Furthermore, the meeting reviewed 67 projects slated for inauguration, costing YR2.77 billion, encompassing sectors such as education, agriculture, sanitation, roads, health, and water services. An additional 18 projects, valued at $3.16 million, are set to be launched with aid from development and humanitarian organizations.

Approval was also given for the commencement of 49 projects worth YR2.85 billion, along with three additional water and health projects costing $817,000, funded by local authorities and international organizations. Governor Idris stated these projects are integral to the local authority's development plan and efforts to meet the governorate's essential needs, despite the ongoing conflict and blockade affecting its infrastructure.
