Al-bayda: A meeting was held today in Al-Bayda province, chaired by Governor Abdullah Idris, to discuss preparations for the central event commemorating the Prophet's birthday. The meeting reviewed the responsibilities of executive offices and districts in marking the occasion, including organizing activities dedicated to it and arranging for the lighting and decoration of streets and neighborhoods.
According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris stressed that all offices and districts should prepare plans for the celebration in a manner befitting the status of the Prophet Muhammad and reflecting the strong bond and devotion of the Yemeni people to the Messenger. He noted that celebrating the Prophet's birth affirms Yemenis' deep attachment to the Prophet and provokes the enemies of Islam. He further emphasized the importance of promoting charitable works and social solidarity, as well as coordinating efforts among provincial offices and districts to mark the occasion.
The governor urged broad participation in activities and events to highlight the faith-based identity of Yemenis, represented in their close relationship with Islam and the Prophet.
