Al-Bayda Governor Assesses Damage at Al-Qurayshiyah Technical Institute

Al-bayda: The Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, conducted an inspection of the damage inflicted on the Technical Institute in Al-Qurayshiyah District due to recent Saudi-American airstrikes. The attacks targeted the institute's buildings and facilities, causing significant destruction.

According to Yemen News Agency, Governor Idris was joined by key officials including the Head of the Civil Defense Authority, Major General Ibrahim Al-Mu'ayyid, the Assistant Commander of the Seventh Military Region, Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Azzi, and the Deputy Director of Al-Bayda Security, Brigadier General Taher Al-Saggaf. The delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the damage to classrooms, technical workshops, and administrative facilities. The destruction has disrupted the educational process, preventing hundreds of students from continuing their technical and vocational programs.

Governor Idris highlighted that the attacks on educational institutions represent a severe assault on Yemen's potential and future. He condemned the actions as a violation against civilian infrastructure, aimed at depleting the country's resources by the American-Saudi-Zionist aggression coalition. He reiterated the importance of technical education in developing skilled professionals for the community and labor market. The governor assured that the local authority is committed to maintaining a conducive learning environment and supporting educational projects throughout all districts.
