Sana’a Concludes Training Course for Warehouse Keepers and Pharmaceutical Distributors

Sana'a: A three-day training course on Good Storage Practice (GSP), Good Distribution Practice (GDP), and the proper disposal of expired medicines concluded Wednesday in the capital Sana'a. The program was organized by the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies with the participation of 130 warehouse keepers and pharmaceutical distributors from various companies.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the closing session, Dr. Amin Qabbas, Chairman of the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies, praised the efforts of the organizers and their role in training participants on safe and compliant methods of storing medicines in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and guidelines. He urged participants to adhere to regulations that ensure the safety of medicines throughout transportation, distribution, handling, and storage in medical warehouses and facilities. Dr. Qabbas also highlighted the importance of raising awareness among workers in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors to help strengthen pharmaceutical security in the local market.
