This initiative is part of joint efforts by the local authority and the General Authority for Endowments to manage, develop, and invest in endowment assets and projects.

According to Yemen News Agency, the inauguration ceremony saw the attendance of Province Undersecretaries Ahmed Al-Saiqal and Dr. Mohammed Al-Somali, the Head of the Authority's Investment Sector, Security Director Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Sharafi, head of the Awqaf office in the governorate Abdulrahman Al-Jarmozi, Director of Rada'a District Ahmed Al-Akkam, and the Authority's Investment Director Ali Hadi. During the event, Governor Idris emphasized that the market's opening aligns with directives aimed at protecting endowment funds and developing their resources for effective and sustainable investment. This effort strives to preserve endowment assets, enhance their returns, and fulfill the purposes for which they were originally endowed. He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the local authority and the Awqaf Authority in monitoring endowment projects to prevent misuse or encroachment and to support economic activity throughout the Rada' sector.

Dr. Naji, Deputy Head of the Awqaf and Guidance Authority, further explained the Authority's focus on prioritizing endowment projects in Al-Bayda Governorate. This is part of a broader plan to inventory, protect, develop, and invest in endowment assets, thereby reinforcing endowment resources and safeguarding properties.

Saleh Al-Hamzi, Director of Rada'a Market, underscored the significance of the Rada'a Central Market as an investment project that aids in organizing commercial activity and provides a conducive environment for the sale and marketing of agricultural products. The market is expected to generate revenues benefiting both the beneficiaries of Waqf (endowment) funds and the local community.
