Al-khokha: A meeting held on Saturday in Al-Khokha District, Hodeidah Governorate, discussed completing admission, registration procedures and setting the start of the 2026/2027 academic year at the College of Applied Education, the Continuing Education and Graduate Studies centers.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri and University of Hodeidah President Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal, reviewed arrangements to resume educational and academic activities and normalize operations at the college and centers under the university's direct supervision.
Al-Bishri affirmed the local authority's support for the university's efforts to resume education in Al-Khokha and provide the necessary facilities for educational institutions to reopen. Al-Ahdal stated that the university would address the conditions of academic, administrative, and other staff, and tackle financial and administrative issues in accordance with legal procedures.
Following the meeting, the college dean received the keys to classrooms, practical facilities, and administrative offices, marking the resumption of official work on Sunday. Admission and registration will remain open for two weeks, with first-semester classes to begin after registration is completed.
