Sana'a: The Ministry of Health and Environment, along with its affiliated units, organized a ceremony on Saturday to commemorate the 12th anniversary of the September 21 Revolution. During the event, Dr. Ali Shaiban, the Minister of Health and Environment, highlighted the significance of the revolution as a continuation and corrective measure for past uprisings, emphasizing Yemen's sovereignty and liberation from foreign influence.
According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Shaiban explained that the anniversary underscores the national consciousness and popular determination to combat injustice, tyranny, and external domination. The minister noted the failure of adversarial plots against the Yemeni people, attributing their resilience to the revolution's success in dismantling foreign control and restoring Yemen's dignity and regional prominence. He also praised the revolution's role in building a robust army rooted in faith and Yemeni identity, as well as its ongoing achievements, including support for the Palestinian cause.
The Minister commended the Armed Forces for their victories against Saudi troop movements and precise operations targeting enemy bases. He condemned Saudi Arabia's alleged disinformation campaign aimed at justifying continued aggression against Yemen. Dr. Essam Al-Rumaima and Dr. Abdullah Al-Sharif, high-ranking officials within the ministry, also emphasized the revolution's transformative impact on Yemen's history, sovereignty, and independence.
Al-Sharif highlighted the revolution's success in thwarting foreign plots to divide Yemen and revive the national project envisioned post-September 26 Revolution. Al-Ezzi Rajeh, Secretary-General of the Supreme Academy for Teaching the Holy Quran, reiterated the revolution's role in liberating Yemen from dependency and underscored the people's commitment to its principles and values, aiming for a secure and prosperous homeland.
