Sana’a: Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi met today with Minister of Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shiban to discuss the progress of the ministry’s 2025 action plan, focusing on enhancing institutional development and strengthening supervisory and regulatory roles over healthcare facilities in the capital and governorates. The meeting also included discussions on coordinating with relevant authorities regarding environmental issues.

According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting addressed the status of the Yemeni Council for Medical Specialties and explored ways to enhance its role in advancing medical services and specialization by strengthening ties with Arab and international institutions.

Prime Minister Al-Rahwi emphasized the importance of intensifying efforts to implement institutional and medical development programs aimed at improving healthcare services for citizens. He stressed the need for continuous monitoring and evaluation of healthcare facilities to ensure efficiency and address any shortcomings.

Additionally, Al-Rahwi praised the successes achieved by the healthcare sector in various specialized fields during the current period.
