Dhamar: A tribal and official mediation succeeded in ending a murder case between the Al-Omaisi and Al-Jawain families from the people of Al-Mashahidha isolated area in Al-Manar District of Dhamar Governorate, which occurred 14 years ago.
According to Yemen News Agency, the mediation was led by Shura Council member Abdulmalik Al-Bariq, along with the directors of security in the governorate, Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Mahdi, and Al-Manar District, Mohammed Jaaran, as well as the local secretary of the district, Hammoud Sabaa. During this mediation, the guardians of the victim, Ismail Ali Mohammed Al-Omaisi, announced their pardon and forgiveness for the perpetrator, Ali Mohammed Jawain, from the same isolated area. This act was made for the sake of God Almighty and emphasized the importance of enhancing the spirit of brotherhood and maintaining public tranquility.
The Shura Council member stated that this resolution showcases the community's commitment to enhancing security and tranquility, aligning with the revolutionary and political leadership's directives to end murder and revenge cases. This resolution aims to strengthen societal cohesion and unify efforts to confront external threats, such as the Saudi enemy, as well as to support the Armed Forces in their efforts to break the siege and restore plundered wealth.
The director of security in Dhamar Governorate highlighted that the decision of the victim's guardians reflects the authentic tribal values for which the Yemeni tribe is known. He noted that pardon and reconciliation are integral to Yemeni society, contributing to enhanced security, stability, and fostering a sense of brotherhood and cohesion within the community.
