Hays: The Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority, Judge Dr. Marwan Al-Mahaqeri, alongside Judge Dr. Jamal Al-Fahaidi, Head of the Judicial Inspection Authority Branch in Hodeida and Raymah governorates, visited district courts in Hays and Al-Khawkhah, Hodeida province, and Mocha, Taiz province, to assess work progress.
According to Yemen News Agency, during their visit, Al-Mahaqeri and Al-Fahaidi evaluated the damage to court buildings in the liberated districts along the West Coast, examined the resumption of judicial operations, and reviewed ongoing efforts to organize court affairs and enhance their capacity to handle citizens' cases. They received briefings from court presidents about operational mechanisms, complaint and lawsuit reception, litigation procedures, and the primary challenges affecting workflow and judicial performance.
Judge Al-Mahaqeri highlighted the necessity of establishing digital infrastructure to network courts, prioritizing the modernization of judicial mechanisms to expedite transaction and case processing, and improve services for citizens. He urged judges and court staff to resolve citizens' cases swiftly, address judicial violations, and correct imbalances, supporting justice and protecting litigants' rights.
Additionally, Al-Mahaqeri called on court presidents and judges who had fled to return and utilize the presidential pardon offer to enhance judiciary presence, expedite litigation, and resolve citizens' cases within district court jurisdictions to alleviate their suffering.
Judge Al-Fahaidi, Head of the Judicial Inspection Branch in Hodeida and Raymah, mentioned ongoing efforts to overcome obstacles and allocate resources to ensure successful litigation procedures and reduce citizens' burdens. He praised court presidents, judges, and personnel for maintaining operations, safeguarding case files, and pursuing lawsuits, emphasizing the importance of collaborative efforts to improve judicial performance.
The officials were accompanied by several judicial and district leaders, including Judge Ali Al-Amisi, Judge Mokhtar Thibah, Judge Abdulbasit Al-Sufyani, Judge Abdullah Al-Janadi, Judge Muhammad Al-Najdi, Judge Yasir Al-Aghbari, Marwan Halisi, and Amjad Al-Amisi, who supported the inspection tour.
In related discussions, judicial leaders examined urgent needs and resource provisions for the Mawza and Al-Wazi'iyah Court, aiming to enhance performance and expedite litigation procedures. The court's president acknowledged the Judicial Inspection Authority's efforts in monitoring conditions and facilitating the resources needed to sustain and improve judicial operations.
