Sana'a: A meeting was held in the capital Sana'a on Monday, chaired by the Minister of Oil and Minerals, Dr. Abdullah Al-Amir, to discuss the Ministry's progress reports, programs, and plans.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting, attended by the Deputy Minister of Oil and Minerals, Mohammed Al-Najjar, reviewed the report on achievements realized between 2014 and 2025. It also discussed the report on the achievements of the "Government of Change and Construction" for the year 1447 AH, examining the indicators, results, and implementation status of tasks and programs contained therein.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed estimated losses and damages incurred to date and their consequences, aiming to document the extent of the damage sustained by the Ministry and its affiliated units.
The meeting also addressed a report from the Prime Minister's Office (Planning Affairs) analyzing the Ministry's completion rate regarding the annual plan for 1447 AH, comparing implemented programs and projects against the targets set in the plan.
A memorandum from the Prime Minister's Office regarding the general and executive matrices and project cards for the Ministry's plan for 1448 AH was reviewed and discussed, with the aim of aligning the Ministry's projects with government priorities and plans.
During the meeting, the Minister of Oil and Minerals emphasized the importance of accurately and comprehensively finalizing the matters to be presented to the Council of Ministers and adhering to established deadlines. This ensures improved performance, enhanced planning and monitoring, and the implementation of the Ministry's programs and projects in accordance with approved priorities.
