Sana'a: The Supreme National Anti-Corruption Authority's Board, led by Deputy Chairman Ridan Al-Mutawakkil, has approved the referral of eight suspects to the specialized Public Funds Prosecution. This decision pertains to three significant corruption cases.
According to Yemen News Agency, the cases have resulted in substantial financial losses, including 738.887 million Yemeni rials, $1.368 million, and 994,626 Saudi riyals. The suspects are accused of offenses such as money laundering, abuse of authority, harming state interests, and failing to submit required financial disclosure statements.
The Board's meeting also involved a review of the Authority's achievements report for the year 1447 AH, highlighting efforts and progress in combating corruption.
