Sana'a: Bayda governor Abdullah Idris on Monday inspected the level of medical services provided to patients and wounded people at Al-Thawra General Hospital Authority in Bayda city.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the visit, the governor heard from the authority's medical staff an explanation of various aspects of healthcare operations, the treatment and diagnostic services provided by the medical departments to patients and wounded people, and the performance of the waterborne diarrhea department.
The governor praised the level of performance and the continued efforts of the medical staff in carrying out their duties, calling for greater efforts to improve performance and alleviate patients' suffering.
He stressed the need to overcome the challenges facing the hospital authority to ensure improved services for citizens, emphasizing the importance of coordinating efforts and maintaining a high level of readiness to protect the community from various epidemics and diseases.
Governor Idris also underscored the importance of raising community awareness about waterborne diarrhea and ways to prevent it.
