Sana'a: In a decisive military maneuver, the Yemeni Armed Forces have executed a comprehensive operation targeting King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait. This action comes as a direct response to what is described as aggressive actions by Saudi forces, which have reportedly launched over 300 airstrikes across Yemeni provinces in the past five days, utilizing advanced F-15 and Typhoon fighter jets from Khamis Mushait and Taif airbases.
According to Yemen News Agency, the Yemeni Armed Forces employed dozens of ballistic missiles and drones to carry out precise strikes on several military installations within the base. These included aircraft hangars, radar installations, runways, and ammunition depots. The operation is reported to have caused substantial damage to the base's infrastructure.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have emphasized their commitment to continuing such operations as long as they perceive ongoing aggression against their people. They have stated that any further acts of aggression will be met with even more intensive military responses. The Armed Forces have vowed to maintain their strategy of reciprocal action, asserting that they will match any escalation with equivalent measures until the conflict is resolved and the siege is lifted.
