Sana'a: Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris inspected the progress of the road maintenance project in Al-Bayda city, which is being funded by the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund at a cost of 100 million riyals. Governor Idris received a briefing from the Director of the Roads Maintenance Executive Unit, Engineer Faisal Al-Sudani, on the project and the work completed on the main street and several other main and secondary streets in the city, where the overall completion rate has reached 35 percent.
According to Yemen News Agency, the project aims to improve the infrastructure of Al-Bayda city by addressing the wear and tear on major roadways, which is essential for enhancing transportation efficiency and safety. The funding provided by the Roads and Bridges Maintenance Fund underscores the importance of this project for the local community and regional connectivity.
