Al-bayda: The offices of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance, Information, Culture, Planning, and Statistics sectors in Al-Bayda Governorate held a speech event on Tuesday to commemorate the Prophet Muhammad's birthday anniversary for 1448 AH. Deputy Governor Abdullah Al-Jamali attended the event, emphasizing the significance of this occasion among Yemenis and the importance of drawing lessons from the Prophet's life to reinforce Islamic values.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Jamali highlighted that the anniversary transcends a mere ceremonial event, embodying spiritual and strategic meanings that advocate unity and mobilization to reclaim rights and safeguard national resources. Al-Jamali also condemned efforts to undermine the commemoration, accusing such campaigns of attempting to alienate people from their religious identity and values.
The Director of the Culture Office, Ahmed Al-Husaisi, underscored the profound religious and Quranic meanings of the Prophet's mission. He stressed that adhering to God's guidance and respecting the Prophet are essential for dignity and empowerment, urging Yemenis to use the occasion to fortify solidarity, brotherhood, and social cohesion.
Director of the Endowments Office, Abdulrahman Al-Jarmouzi, reiterated the importance of honoring the anniversary as a reminder of the Prophet's teachings on justice and mercy. He encouraged learning from the Prophet's biography to build communities and reform individuals.
A statement from the scholars, delivered by Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hakim, asserted that the occasion provides an opportunity to enhance unity, draw lessons of steadfastness from the Prophet's life, and address the challenges facing the nation.
