Amran: A meeting held on Monday in Khamer District, Amran Governorate, discussed preparations for commemorating the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday anniversary across the governorate and its districts. The meeting, attended by Amran Local Council Secretary-General Saleh Al-Makhlous, member of the Supreme Committee for Prophet's Birthday Celebrations Fouad Al-Ezzi, and district officials, reviewed guidelines, the executive program for the celebrations, and accompanying community and awareness activities.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants stressed the importance of defining the duties and responsibilities of various committees and enhancing coordination among offices, local authorities, and community committees to ensure organized implementation of planned programs, activities, and the success of central events and related activities across the district. Al-Makhlous and Al-Ezzi affirmed that the Prophet's Birthday anniversary represents a significant spiritual and educational occasion to renew attachment to Prophet Muhammad and draw lessons from his life, while promoting the values and principles he taught.
They stressed that the activities should reflect the importance of the occasion and the Prophet's esteemed status among the Yemeni people. A similar meeting was also held in Habour Zulaimah District, attended by General Mobilization official in the governorate Hussein Al-Ghareb and district leaders, to launch activities marking the Prophet's Birthday anniversary.
The meeting reviewed the implementation plan for events and activities at the district level, along with the tasks of relevant bodies to ensure proper preparation, organization, and broad community participation. Al-Ghareb noted that the Prophet's Birthday anniversary is an important spiritual and educational occasion for strengthening noble values and morals, deepening the connection with the Prophet, and drawing lessons from his life in building society, enhancing unity, and cohesion.
He emphasized the need to carry out programs and activities in a manner befitting the significance of the occasion and reflecting public engagement with the blessed anniversary.
