Sana'a: Mass rallies were held across the cities and districts of Al Bayda province after Friday prayers under the slogan "No aggression except against the oppressors," expressing support for the maritime ban on the Saudi enemy and reaffirming commitment to breaking the blockade and securing Yemen's rights.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants, led by Al Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris and local officials, praised the armed forces' military operation targeting two Saudi oil tankers for allegedly violating the maritime ban imposed by the Yemeni armed forces. The attack reportedly involved ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones.
They said Saudi Arabia could avoid further Yemeni strikes by announcing its withdrawal from Yemen and paying compensation for damage caused since the 2015 military intervention.
The participants also said Riyadh's reliance on proxy forces while attempting to portray itself as neutral and protect its strategic facilities and energy investments would not shield it from further escalation.
The rallies renewed full authorization for Revolution Leader Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi to take what they described as necessary deterrent measures to secure Yemen's rights and benefit from its resources.
A statement issued at the rallies reaffirmed full support for the armed forces in pursuing all options under the slogan "Blockade for blockade, escalation for escalation."
The statement also called for general mobilization to "liberate" all occupied territories, break the blockade, and continue supporting military fronts with personnel and resources.
It further reaffirmed support for the "Unity of Fronts" approach and urged cooperation with security authorities against anyone accused of collaborating with Saudi Arabia.
