Al-bayda: The Board of Trustees of Al-Bayda University, led by Board President Amin Jumaan, convened today to deliberate on the university's strategic plan, along with its short- and long-term objectives, and the proposed mechanisms for implementation.
According to Yemen News Agency, the meeting was attended by board members and University President Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami. The discussions focused on the progress of the educational process at the university, efforts to enhance academic and administrative performance, and the achievements and projects completed in recent times. Key accomplishments discussed included infrastructure development, digital transformation, and e-transition initiatives.
The council also reviewed the final financial report for the previous fiscal year, along with related financial and administrative reports, and approved the final accounts while emphasizing the importance of developing financial resources. University President Dr. Ahmed Al-Arami presented a report on the exceptional salary disbursement mechanism, challenges in maintaining regular salary payments, and practical proposals to continue the educational process while protecting academic and administrative staff from potential negative impacts.
Additionally, the preparations for Al-Bayda University's sixth scientific conference were discussed, including the extension of the deadline for research submissions and the confirmation of the conference date set for 15 Rabi al-Thani 1447 AH / October 7, 2025 AD. The Board commended the leadership and staff for their efforts in executing development projects, improving performance, and enhancing the educational process, stressing the importance of sustaining and advancing these efforts in line with the university's future vision.
The meeting also affirmed full and absolute authorization to Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi in leading "The Promised Conquest and Sacred Jihad" to liberate the nation from external influences, while elevating public consciousness towards victory, dignity, and empowerment.
