Sana'a: Oil and Minerals Minister, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ameer, visited several charity kitchens in Ma'een District in the Capital Secretariat. During his visit, Dr. Al-Ameer was joined by district director Abdulmalik Al-Radhi and other officials to review the charitable work being done to provide iftar meals for thousands of underprivileged families in the district.
According to Yemen News Agency, the supervisors of the charity kitchens briefed Dr. Al-Ameer on their operations, highlighting the humanitarian impact and the number of families benefiting from their services. Currently, 19 charity kitchens are actively preparing meals for those in need, largely supported by community initiatives and contributions from philanthropists.
Throughout the visit, Dr. Al-Ameer expressed his appreciation for the hard work of the charity kitchens' operators, emphasizing the critical role they play in supporting impoverished families. He underscored the importance of fostering a spirit of solidarity and compassion within the Yemeni community and urged the expansion of such initiatives to strengthen communal bonds and aid those in need.
Dr. Al-Ameer also acknowledged the efforts of individuals and organizations contributing to humanitarian and community projects aimed at alleviating the struggles of needy families, both in Ma'een District and beyond.
