Sana'a: Security Department and its affiliated police stations in Capital Secretariat organized a celebration on Wednesday marking the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad.
According to Yemen News Agency, Shura Council member Ahmed Al-Sharabi emphasized that the occasion is an opportunity to strengthen social cohesion, maintain steadfastness, and preserve security and stability. He highlighted the importance of community awareness in addressing challenges and countering plots against national security.
Al-Sharabi noted that such events among security personnel reflect their connection to the Prophet and underscore the importance of following his example and noble character in carrying out their duties, promoting discipline, sincerity, and service to the community. He remarked that the occasion comes amid challenges facing the Muslim nation, necessitating a return to the Prophet's guidance and adherence to the Holy Quran and Islamic teachings.
During the event, which was attended by key figures including Capital Secretariat Social Affairs Committee Chairman Hamoud Al-Naqeeb and Deputy Mayor Ali Al-Lahji, Colonel Majed Al-Hamli, Director of Moral Guidance and Relations at the Amanat Al-Asimah Security Department, reviewed the significance of the celebrations and the Yemeni people's connection to the Prophet. He noted the event as a unifying occasion, reflecting the legacy of the early Ansar who supported the Prophet, and demonstrating the Yemeni people's deep commitment to Islamic identity.
Deputy Security Zone Director Abdulmajeed Abu Khulqa delivered a speech on behalf of the Security Department, emphasizing that participation in the occasion represents a religious and cultural message affirming the Yemeni people's adherence to their Islamic identity. He stressed that celebrating the occasion is an expression of love and attachment to the Prophet, as well as a renewal of commitment to the Holy Quran and the Prophet's guidance in all aspects of life.
