Taiz:The Acting Minister of Information, Dr. Omar Al-Bukhaiti, has confirmed that hundreds of trucks carrying essential goods such as food, medical supplies, and fuel are entering Taiz city daily. These entries occur through the Al-Hangar Roundabout crossing, with complete security and facilitation provided by government authorities.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Bukhaiti stated that various media reports from local, Arab, and international sources have documented the seamless passage of these cargo and medical aid trucks, indicating no obstruction in their movement.
Al-Bukhaiti emphasized that these reports contradict claims made by Saudi Arabia and Saudi-funded media outlets, which allege that the Government of Change and Construction is imposing a siege on Taiz. He encouraged media outlets and the public to scrutinize reports and interviews with local residents and truck drivers to verify the information before accepting what he termed the Saudi enemy narrative. Additionally, Al-Bukhaiti invited any media outlet interested in visiting and covering the situation in Taiz to do so.
