Dhamar: Dhamar governor Mohammed Nasser al-Bukhaiti and Head of the Rehabilitation and Correction Authority Major General Ismail al-Moayyed inaugurated four service projects at the Central Prison in Dhamar province. The projects aim to enhance the living conditions of inmates and improve the quality of services offered at the facility.
According to Yemen News Agency, the newly inaugurated projects include the drilling of an artesian well equipped with a submersible pumping system, the construction of four private visitation rooms, the renovation of 22 bathrooms, the provision of 383 double beds for inmates, and the installation of a video surveillance system. These developments mark a significant improvement in the infrastructure and resources available within the prison.
Al-Bukhaiti and Al-Moayyed highlighted the significance of these projects in their efforts to improve the overall environment for inmates. During their visit, they inspected the facility to review the services currently provided and engaged in discussions about the key needs and challenges faced by the correctional facility. They also explored possible solutions to further enhance the conditions and operations within the prison.
