Al-dhale': Acting Governor of Al-Dhale', Abdul Latif Al-Shaghadri, together with Hamza Al-Manski, representative of the Bunyan Foundation in the southern region, conducted an inspection on Thursday of the agricultural crop production in Kula Al-Zuqri area of Damt District.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Shaghadri evaluated the seed production by local farmers and examined the process for preparing seed producers for cooperative associations, aiming to strengthen food security. He expressed support for farmers to participate in contract farming of cereal crops, which is intended to decrease import costs and promote self-reliance.
The Acting Governor emphasized the importance of preparing associations and communities to boost agricultural crop production along value chains. This initiative is seen as a means to support sustainable agricultural development in the region.
