Al-Dhale’ Hosts Event Honoring Islamic Scholar Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi

Al-dhale': The local authority in Al-Dhale' Governorate organized a speech event on Sunday to commemorate the anniversary of the passing of prominent Islamic scholar Sayyed Badr al-Din Ameer al-Din al-Houthi. During the event, attended by Deputy Governors Sadiq Al-Idrisi and Aziz Al-Haidari, Governorate Undersecretary Hussein Al-Madhhaji and Agricultural Sector Official Nabil Al-Marqab highlighted the significance of the occasion in drawing inspiration from the values and principles embodied by the late scholar, particularly his steadfastness in upholding truth and defending the causes of the nation.

According to Yemen News Agency, the speakers noted that Sayyed Badr al-Din al-Houthi represented a unique model of a scholar who combined knowledge with principled action, dedicating his life to serving Islam and spreading the teachings of the Holy Quran. They reviewed key stages of his life, scholarly and struggle-related journey, intellectual contributions, writings, and efforts to combat alien ideas and misconceptions within society. The speakers also emphasized that he carried the concerns of the nation from an early age, having been raised in a family of scholars, and maintained a sincere stance throughout his lifelong mission.
