Al-Dhale’ Tribal Reconciliation Resolves Accidental Killing Case Between Al-Darsi & Al-Mahmoudi Families

Al-dhale': A tribal reconciliation in the Amarah area of Al-Hasha District, Al-Dhale' Governorate, successfully resolved an accidental killing case between the Al-Darsi and Al-Mahoudi families.

According to Yemen News Agency, during the reconciliation gathering, attended by Acting Governor of Al-Dhale' Abdul Latif Al-Shaghdari, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Mahmoudi, and a number of tribal sheikhs and dignitaries from the Al-Darsi family and Al-Hasha District, the relatives of the victim, Abdulrahim Nabil Fare' Al-Darsi, announced their pardon of the offender, Mohammed Abdullah Al-Mahmoudi, for the sake of Allah, in honor of those present, and in response to the call of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, to promote reconciliation and resolve disputes.

Al-Shaghdari praised the honorable stance of the Al-Darsi family in embodying the values of forgiveness and tolerance and prioritizing reconciliation over motives of revenge and retaliation. He stressed that the successful settlement represents a victory for the values of brotherhood, social cohesion, strengthens unity, solidarity, and contributes to confronting hostile schemes and challenges.

He noted that resolving the case reflects the commitment of all parties to promoting a culture of tolerance among Yemenis, unifying efforts, resources, and preserving the cohesion of the internal front.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed Al-Mahmoudi affirmed that the Yemeni tribe remains an integral part of the nation and will continue to serve as a stronghold against conspiracies and hostile projects targeting the country.

He emphasized the importance of unity in confronting what he described as the real enemies of Yemen and the Yemeni people, namely the United States, Israel, and their regional allies, expressing appreciation to all those who contributed to bridging differences and achieving a final settlement of the case.

Sheikh Al-Mahmoudi also called on Yemen's tribes to continue addressing disputes and vendetta-related issues through wisdom, responsibility, and peaceful means acceptable to all parties, in a manner that reflects the moral and religious values for which the Yemeni people are known and strengthens the role of the Yemeni tribe in safeguarding social cohesion.

Participants affirmed that the Yemeni tribe will remain a solid barrier against attempts to undermine security, stability, and to sow division and discord among the people of the country.

They stressed the importance of consolidating the principles of tolerance, reconciliation, forgiveness, and dispute resolution, while enhancing social and tribal solidarity to help end vendettas and conflicts, direct efforts toward development and reconstruction, safeguard national sovereignty, and preserve Yemen's security and stability.
