Sana'a: Secretary-General of the Local Council in Sana'a Governorate, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, inspected on Saturday the workflow at the governorate's headquarters and a number of executive offices on the first official working day following the Eid al-Adha holiday. During the visit, Al-Jilani, accompanied by First Deputy Governor Hamid Asim, met with department heads and employees at the governorate's headquarters, exchanging greetings and congratulations on the occasion of the blessed religious holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Jilani and several deputy governors reviewed the level of employee attendance and discipline and received a briefing from the Director of Human Resources at the governorate office, Abdul Karim Al-Salami, on the progress of work across all departments and sections. Al-Jilani stressed the importance of adhering to official working hours and ensuring the delivery of services to citizens. He praised the commitment demonstrated by the leadership and staff of the governorate's departments and executive offices, urging them to intensify their work and continue enhancing performance.
Meanwhile, First Deputy Governor Hamid Asim inspected employee attendance at the offices of the Zakat Authority, Finance Office, Civil Service Office, and Health Office. During meetings with officials and employees, he received reports from personnel affairs departments on attendance rates, absences, and leave records. Asim praised the high level of commitment and called for greater efforts to serve the community and facilitate measures that contribute to improved performance and citizen satisfaction.
Deputy Governor for Services Affairs, Fares Al-Kahali, also inspected attendance levels at the branches of the General Authority for Rural Water Projects, the General Authority for Water Resources, the Yemen Petroleum Company branch, and the Transport Office. Al-Kahali reviewed workflow and employee attendance, commending the high level of discipline shown on the first day back after the Eid holiday.
In the same context, Deputy Governor for Investment Affairs Yahya Jamaan inspected attendance at the Sana'a Electricity District and the Telecommunications Office, where he reviewed workflow and employee commitment while exchanging Eid greetings with staff. He urged all employees to uphold their responsibilities, overcome challenges, and intensify efforts to provide better services to citizens.
Deputy Governors Abdulmalik Al-Gharbi and Eng. Saleh Al-Muntasir inspected workflow and attendance levels at the Cleaning and Improvement Fund, the Automated Issuance Complex, and the districts of Sanhan and Bani Bahloul. They received briefings from office directors on workflow, employee attendance, and the level of services being provided to citizens. Al-Muntasir and Al-Gharbi emphasized the importance of adhering to official working hours to ensure effective service delivery and praised the commitment shown by employees.
For his part, Deputy Governor Mohammed Al-Habari reviewed workflow at the branches of the General Authority for Lands, the Social Welfare Fund, the Education and Scientific Research Office, and the Governorate Traffic Department. Al-Habari praised the strong attendance and administrative discipline displayed by employees and officials, considering it a reflection of responsibility, a cornerstone of development and progress. He called for collective efforts to achieve the desired objectives.
Deputy Governor for Financial Affairs Mohammed Jameel inspected workflow at the Customs, Postal, and Agriculture offices in Sana'a and received reports from department heads regarding attendance rates, absences, and leave records. Jameel commended the commitment shown by officials and staff, affirming that it reflected a high sense of responsibility.
Deputy Governors Jubran Ghawbar and Mohammed Ayed inspected workflow at the Endowments Office, 22 May Hospital in Dalaa, and Hamdan District. They reviewed attendance levels and praised the commitment of executive office leaders and employees to resume work promptly following the Eid holiday.
Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Sammat and Governorate Advisor Eng. Abdulrahman Al-Murtada inspected workflow at the Tax Office, Real Estate Tax Authority, Slaughterhouses Office, and the Technical Education Office, reviewing attendance and operational performance. They emphasized the importance of adhering to official working hours and ensuring citizens receive services efficiently and conveniently.
Deputy Governors Manea Al-Agharbi and Abdullah Al-Abyadh inspected employee attendance in Bani Hushaysh District. They received a briefing from District Director Rajeh Al-Hanami on workflow, challenges facing service-oriented executive offices, and proposed solutions to enhance service delivery to citizens. Al-Agharbi and Al-Abyadh praised the commitment of employees in the offices visited, stressing that the dedication of district officials and staff reflects their concern for serving the public.
In Bilad Al-Rus District, Deputy Governor Abu Nujum Al-Muhaqari inspected workflow at the government complex and executive offices. Al-Muhaqari highlighted the high level of employee attendance and discipline on the first working day following the Eid al-Adha holiday. District directors and secretaries-general of local councils also inspected workflow in executive offices across the districts, emphasizing the importance of attendance and efficient service delivery to citizens.
Meanwhile, Deputy Director of the Civil Service and Administrative Development Office, Abdulaziz Hadi, told the Yemen News Agency (Saba) that the employee attendance rate on the first official working day after the Eid al-Adha holiday reached 89 percent. He noted that 27 administrative inspectors had been assigned to conduct field inspections at the governorate center, in addition to office representatives in the districts. He added that inspections covered 58 administrative units, hospitals, colleges, and authorities, as well as 17 districts.
