Sana'a: Chairman of the Shura Council, Mohammed Hussein Al-Eidaroos, reviewed on Saturday the level of attendance and compliance with official working hours at the Council's General Secretariat following the Eid al-Adha holiday.
According to Yemen News Agency, Al-Eidaroos commended the high level of commitment demonstrated by the Secretariat's administrative leadership and male and female employees on the first day of official work after the holiday. During a meeting with the Secretariat's leadership and staff, attended by a number of Council members and the Secretary-General of the Council, Ali Abdulmughni, the Shura Council Chairman extended his congratulations to the revolutionary and political leadership, Council members and affiliates, and the steadfast Yemeni people on the occasion of Wilayah Day.
He highlighted the profound spiritual and faith-based significance of the occasion in the hearts and minds of the nation's people, praising the participation of Council members and employees, as well as the broad popular turnout and massive public gatherings witnessed across various governorates and public squares to commemorate Wilayah Day.
Al-Eidaroos considered the strong public engagement on the occasion a vivid reflection of the Yemeni people's awareness, their adherence to their faith-based identity and Quranic culture. The Shura Council Chairman stressed the importance of the post-holiday period in revitalizing efforts, intensifying work, and enhancing the pace of activity to further improve the Council's consultative performance during the coming period.
He also reaffirmed the importance of early and distinguished preparation of the Council's plans and programs for the year 1448 AH, in a manner that keeps pace with developments and meets the aspirations of the current stage. He emphasized the need for all committees to fulfill their assigned responsibilities in order to strengthen the Council's role in serving the nation and its citizens.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Shura Council underscored the importance of preparing plans and reports with a high degree of accuracy, in line with the requirements and challenges of the current stage facing the country, in order to enhance the Council's consultative performance and keep pace with ongoing developments.
