Telecommunications Minister Evaluates Ministry Workflow Post-Eid al-Adha Holiday

Sana'a: Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed Al-Mahdi, along with Deputy Minister Ali Al-Makni, conducted a review of the workflow at the Ministry's General Office on the first official working day after the Eid al-Adha holiday. Minister Al-Mahdi underscored the significance of adhering to official working hours and enhancing service quality for citizens, keeping pace with modern technologies and the swift advancements in the telecommunications sector.

According to Yemen News Agency, the Minister emphasized the service-oriented nature of the Ministry and its affiliated entities, which operate continuously to provide direct services to citizens. This operation requires employees to remain active during weekends and official holidays to ensure citizens have uninterrupted access to telecommunications services. The Minister lauded the Ministry's staff and affiliated institutions for their strong religious and moral commitment, which is evident in their dedication to their duties, especially under the challenging circumstances the country is facing.

Additionally, it was noted that the employee attendance rate at the Ministry of Telecommunications and its affiliated entities reached an impressive 96.7 percent on the first official working day following the Eid al-Adha holiday. Joining the Minister for this evaluation were the Ministry's Undersecretary for Financial and Administrative Affairs, Ahmed Al-Mutawakel, Undersecretary for Technical Affairs, Eng. Taha Zabara, Executive Director General of the Public Telecommunications Corporation, Eng. Sadiq Musleh, Director General of the General Postal Authority, Ammar Wahan, and several other telecommunications and postal sector officials.
