Al-Dhari Reviews Operations at National Program for Productive Families

Sanaa:Dr. Al-Hasan Al-Dhari, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor for the Economic Empowerment, Development and Marketing of Production Sector, conducted an inspection of the workflow at the National Program for Productive Families.

According to Yemen News Agency, Dr. Al-Dhari was informed by Yahya Qutaynah, Director General of the program, about current efforts to enhance work mechanisms and align with recent developments aimed at supporting productive families and boosting economic empowerment initiatives.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Dhari reviewed the preparations for the Eid clothing project, linked with the General Zakat Authority, including the maintenance of sewing machines and cutting operations necessary to produce sufficient cloth quantities.

He emphasized the ministry's commitment to the National Program for Productive Families, recognizing it as a crucial unit for implementing economic empowerment programs. Such programs are seen as vital for combating poverty and unemployment and achieving sustainable development.

Dr. Al-Dhari highlighted the significant role of investing in productive families, which he believes can provide wide opportunities for these groups to integrate into the labor market, achieve social stability, and contribute to economic growth in line with the directives of the revolutionary and political leadership.

The undersecretary also toured the program's facilities, focusing on the inspection of knitting machines that require maintenance to ensure they contribute effectively to community service under the economic empowerment projects.
