Sana'a: The founding and electoral meeting for the establishment of the al-Haymah al-Dakhiliyah Multi-Purpose Agricultural Cooperative Society was convened in the al-Haymah al-Dakhiliyah district of the Sana'a governorate. This significant gathering marked a milestone aimed at fostering development within the region.
According to Yemen News Agency, district director Kamal al-Askari, along with mobilization officer Mukhtar al-Sayaghi and head of the preparatory committee Abdu al-Daghshi, articulated that the formation of the cooperative society aligns with the directives from the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi. The initiative seeks to enhance development, promote cooperative efforts, and achieve self-sufficiency, with a strong emphasis on agriculture and livestock.
Mohammed Najad, the director of associations and unions at the governorate's Social Affairs and Labor Office, elaborated on the procedures and organizational principles necessary for electing the administrative body. He stressed the importance of free and transparent nomination and election processes, encouraging participants to select an administration that can effectively manage development initiatives and meet practical demands.
The meeting, which saw participation from the governorate's economic empowerment officer, Engineer Mohammed al-Qarafi, the district's Social Affairs and Labor Office director Amin al-Qalam, and founding members, culminated with the election of the administrative board. The association was formally registered, and its bylaws were ratified, setting the stage for its operational commencement.
