Sana'a: The local authority and mobilization committee in Arhab District, Sanaa Governorate, in collaboration with the centers of the late Sheikh Mohsen Abu Nashatan, organized a central event to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The event was held under the theme "By the Lord of the Kaaba, I have won."

According to Yemen News Agency, the head of the General Authority for Zakat, Shamsan Abu Nashatan, highlighted the unique nature of Imam Ali's martyrdom, emphasizing that it was not an ordinary or natural event but rather a significant occurrence involving a dagger wielded by someone claiming to be a Muslim. He stressed the importance of commemorating this anniversary to draw lessons that would strengthen the nation against global oppressors.

Abu Nashatan further explained that the current battle against the enemies of Islam is decisive and distinct from past conflicts, requiring vigilance and readiness for any strategies the revolutionary leadership might employ against global forces of arrogance. He noted the need for steadfastness in the face of a general mobilization declared against Islam.

Ahmed Majali, Deputy Head of the General Authority for Endowments and Guidance, explained that the commemoration aims to understand historical deviations and misguided cultures that led to present calamities. He emphasized following the example of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali, by embodying his virtues of patience, knowledge, courage, and struggle.

During the event, Yemeni scholar Akram al-Darwani and Sheikh Abdul Karim al-Batta highlighted Imam Ali's qualities of courage, bravery, and unwavering faith, relating them to the Yemeni people's support for the Palestinian cause. They stressed that commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom reinforces the connection to his legacy and his path of righteousness and piety.

The event, attended by various dignitaries, including the provincial director of tribal affairs, Walid Qanbour, district director Khalid al-Aqida, and the district's mobilization officer, Salim Qanbour, featured a poem and speeches that underscored the significance of the occasion.
