Hajjah: The Women's Authority in Hajjah Governorate organized cultural events to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). The events and seminars were conducted in several districts, including Kashar, Qarah, Al-Mahabsha, Al-Madinah, Madhrouh, Al-Ras'ah in Al-Mahabsha, Mabein, Al-Shahl, the governorate center, Al-Nusairiyah in the governorate center, Al-Wa'liyah, Al-Jabr Al-A'la, Al-'Alkmah in Al-Miftah, Kahlan Al-Sharaf, and Bayt Al-Maghrabi in Kahlan Al-Sharaf.
According to Yemen News Agency, the speeches and seminar topics focused on the virtues and merits of Imam Ali, known as the Martyr of the Mihrab. The discussions highlighted his stances, courage, struggle, asceticism, piety, and righteousness. The events also addressed lessons and moral insights associated with the occasion, emphasizing the need to learn from them to correct the Islamic Ummah's religious path and rescue it from deviation.
Commemorating Imam Ali's martyrdom was seen as reinforcing the faith-based identity of the Yemeni people and continuing their historical stance in supporting the Prophet Muhammad and spreading the Islamic message. The speeches underscored the importance of emulating Imam Ali and using the Ramadan program to purify the soul, reinforce loyalty, and preserve the faith-based identity.
The events also highlighted Imam Ali's courage and stances throughout his life alongside the Prophet Muhammad, presenting them as a school of thought for all free people to understand the greatness of Islam in its true sense and carrying the banner of Jihad in the path of God to confront the enemies of the Ummah.
