Al-Hodeida: Al-Hodeida Governor, Abdullah Atifi, conducted an inspection on Tuesday to assess the progress of work within several government departments, including the General Authority for Zakat, Health and Environment, the Cleanliness Project, and the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund. Atifi reviewed ongoing work, the services provided to the public, and the mechanisms employed to implement these services.
According to Yemen News Agency, the governor engaged with directors of various departments-Zakat’s Mohammed Hazza’a, Health’s Dr. Khalid Al-Madani, and Cleanliness’s Abdul Nasser Al-Sharif-who shared updates on work plans and efforts aimed at enhancing health, environmental, and cleanliness services. They also discussed initiatives to improve Zakat projects and support for the poor and needy.
Governor Atifi expressed appreciation for the commitment observed in these offices, emphasizing the necessity for collective effort to meet current challenges. He underscored the importance of enhancing service and humanitarian performance to maintain stability on the home front.
Furthermore, the governor highlighted the local authority’s dedication to consistently monitoring the performance of offices and institutions, aiming to address challenges faced by the Zakat, health, and cleaning fund offices. This, he noted, is crucial for ensuring the continuous improvement and quality of services provided.
Atifi acknowledged the significant progress made in Hodeida province in fostering institutional work principles, attributing this to the combined efforts and responsible engagement of executive leaders, service office staff, and related authorities.
He reiterated the commitment to sustaining a high level of service improvement, boosting community trust in local administration, and aligning with the directives of the Revolution Leader, the Supreme Political Council, and the government in prioritizing citizen welfare.
