Al-hodeida: Since the beginning of the month of Safar, Al-Hodeida Governorate has been witnessing escalating celebratory atmospheres on the occasion of the anniversary of the noble Prophet's birth (Mawlid al-Nabawi), with their scope expanding day after day across various districts, amid wide popular and official momentum reflecting the great status of the occasion in the public consciousness, and the faith-based and religious significance it carries connected to the biography of the Greatest Messenger (PBUH).

According to Yemen News Agency, in the governorate center, its districts, and its rural areas, celebratory evenings and events follow one after another, with poems, chants, and prophetic praises resonating in neighborhoods, alleys, and quarters, while streets, institutions, mosques, schools, and public facilities are adorned with the occasion's displays, giving the Tihami nights a festive character that draws its features from local heritage and the region's distinctiveness.

Popular participation in the events is expanding across various groups and social components, in a manner that reflects the deep-rootedness of the occasion in the collective consciousness of the people of Tihama, and their commitment to commemorating it and recalling the values of love and emulation of the noble Prophet's biography associated with it, as well as the principles of guidance, justice, patience, steadfastness, and sacrifice that his message carries.

In this framework, the Governor of the Governorate, Abdullah Atifi, affirmed that the people of Al-Hodeida, through their celebration of this occasion, embody their faith-based identity and their close connection to the Messenger of God, expressing that through practical positions based on steadfastness, resilience, and support for the nation's causes, foremost among them the Palestinian cause.

He pointed out that the expanding participation in the evenings and events across the governorate's districts reflects the faith-based awareness enjoyed by the people of Tihama, and embodies emulation of the Greatest Messenger in steadfastness on principle and shouldering responsibility, emphasizing the importance of drawing the values of sacrifice, giving, and generosity from his pure biography.

For his part, the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bishari, stated that the wide participation in the Mawlid al-Nabawi events reflects the presence of this occasion in the life of society, and links its commemoration with recalling the values of the Muhammadan message and the lessons it contains in patience, steadfastness, and confronting challenges.

He noted that the Yemeni people, as they commemorate the Mawlid al-Nabawi, draw from the Prophet's biography lessons of patience and steadfastness in confronting aggression, and translate them into practical positions in giving and confrontation, explaining that one of the most prominent features of Yemeni awareness is making the Holy Quran a living reference for renewing awareness, and a present methodology in the reality of life and stances.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Governor for Northern Districts Affairs, Ghaleb Hamza, explained that the evenings in the northern quarter districts express the wide engagement with the Mawlid al-Nabawi commemoration, and recall the approach of the Ansar who supported the Messenger of God and embraced his call.

He mentioned that this approach is renewed, according to what the governorate's residents express, in supporting the nation's causes, foremost among them Palestine, and in readiness to face challenges and the enemies' schemes, affirming that the Mawlid commemoration combines joy at the occasion with recalling the responsibility imposed by the values of the Muhammadan message.
