This surge in tourism activity comes amidst comprehensive field efforts by the Tourism Office to ensure service quality and adherence to approved pricing.

According to Yemen News Agency, the monitoring campaign included active participation from local celebrities, social media influencers, and activists to enhance promotional and awareness efforts. The initiative aimed to directly assess the implementation of safety, security, and technical standards in hotels, resorts, and parks, reinforcing Al-Hodeidah's status as a pristine tourist destination and a top choice for visitors nationwide.

Field teams from the Tourism Office conducted daily inspections across various tourist sites, including restaurants, parks, accommodation facilities, resorts, chalets, public gardens, and amusement areas. These inspections aimed to strengthen the oversight role, directly impacting the quality of tourist services offered in the governorate.

These measures are designed to ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations, control pricing violations or exploitation during the tourist season, and maintain a strong focus on environmental, food, and public safety rules. This ensures visitors' comfort and security throughout the holiday.

Asad Basha, Director of the Tourism Office in the governorate, stated that the campaign is rooted in the office's responsibilities in supervision and oversight, following directives from the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and local authorities. The initiative aims to enhance discipline within the tourism sector and is part of a comprehensive plan to maintain the sector's stability and improve the performance of operating facilities.

Basha emphasized that the field teams target various tourist facilities to ensure compliance with tourism regulations and provide suitable environments for visitors. The campaign, which will continue throughout the Eid holiday, relies on precise operational mechanisms to obligate accommodation and service facilities to adhere to approved pricing and avoid overcharging visitors.

Deputy Director of the Tourism Office, Walid Al-Sharif, reported that hotel and accommodation occupancy reached 100 percent, underscoring Al-Hodeidah's transformation into a leading destination for domestic tourism. He praised the cooperation shown by facility owners and urged hotel and resort operators to maintain high service standards, warning that legal action will be taken against any facility found violating standards or pricing regulations.

Al-Sharif encouraged investors to seize opportunities in Al-Hodeidah's tourism sector, highlighting the region's potential for investment in entertainment, hospitality, and coastal services. The local authorities provide facilities and advantages for serious investors, aiming to transform the governorate into a leading tourism and economic center.

The Tourism Office established an operations room to monitor the campaign, receive reports and complaints from citizens, and address them throughout the Eid al-Fitr holiday. Involving local celebrities and activists in the campaign reflects their vital role in community awareness and tourism promotion, enhancing the office's media message and encouraging public adherence to cleanliness and guidelines.
