Al-hodeidah: Local authorities and the General Mobilization in the districts of Al-Hali, Bajil, Al-Burai, Al-Qanawis, Al-Mighlaf, and Al-Durayhimi in Al-Hodeidah governorate organized expanded meetings on Sunday to launch the summer courses and activities for the year 1447 AH, under the slogan 'Knowledge and Jihad.'
According to Yemen News Agency, at a meeting in Al-Hali district, the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bashri, emphasized that the summer courses are part of a crucial civilizational and intellectual struggle. These courses represent a strategic educational project aimed at instilling the values of national and faith-based identity, especially as the nation faces conspiracies targeting its awareness and culture.
Deputy Governor Al-Bashri explained that the battle being fought by the Yemeni people is not only on military fronts but also on the front of consciousness and thought. He highlighted that those without strong awareness are vulnerable to schemes aimed at destroying the nation's identity. Al-Bashri stressed the importance of these courses in building an educated, aware generation capable of facing future challenges, and he called for the mobilization of all efforts to ensure the success of this national educational project.
Meanwhile, Deputy Governor for the Hodeidah city area, Ali Al-Kabbari, noted that the summer courses are an important step toward building and properly preparing new generations. He stated that these courses serve as an intellectual and cultural lever to strengthen national identity and raise a generation capable of preserving its values and principles against cultural and ideological invasion.
During the meetings, speeches highlighted the role of local councils in supporting such essential activities aimed at safeguarding the youth from intellectual and cultural risks threatening the nation. The speeches also described the summer courses as platforms for awareness and education, considering the students participating in them as soldiers of thought and the future. They stressed the need for everyone to mobilize the necessary efforts to ensure their success.
