Al-hodeidah: The Deputy Governor of Al-Hodeidah for Northern District Affairs, Ghaleb Hamza, recently assessed the ongoing work on the pumping network of the Al-Qanawis City Water Project. The inspection aimed to evaluate the progress of both completion and maintenance activities related to the water infrastructure.

According to Yemen News Agency, Deputy Governor Hamza, along with District Director Mohammed Al-Qoozi, was informed by project officials about the current developments. The updates included the completion of network maintenance and the installation of 200 new subscriber lines extending over 4,800 meters. This work was carried out with a budget of $40,000, which was provided by the 'Biomi' organization.

During his visit, Deputy Governor Hamza stressed the significance of this project in reducing the challenges faced by citizens and enhancing their access to water. He acknowledged the contribution of Biomi in supporting such essential service projects.

The inspection was also attended by Zaili Dahmash, Director of the Rural Water Branch in Al-Qanawis District.
