Al-hodeidah: The local authority and mobilization officials in the eastern districts of Al-Hodeidah province launched on Monday the events commemorating the blessed anniversary of the Prophet's Birthday (Mawlid al-Nabi) 1447 AH. This celebration began with an expanded gathering under the slogan "The Messenger of Allah is Our Role Model."
According to Yemen News Agency, during the event, Amer Mathna, the province's deputy for eastern districts affairs, emphasized the significance of celebrating the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). He highlighted that this occasion serves as a spiritual milestone to renew allegiance to the Prophet, reinforcing the values of faith and Quranic principles in confronting ignorance and tyranny. Mathna expressed pride in Yemen's historical role in supporting the Prophet and its continued solidarity with the Palestinian people against the Zionist entity.
Abdulmunim Al-Rifai, director of Bajil district, described the Prophet's Birthday as an annual opportunity to revive faith-based awareness and strengthen spiritual identity. He asserted that emulating the Prophet's life is crucial to supporting just causes, particularly the plight of the Palestinian people. Al-Rifai emphasized that the Yemeni people's resistance to tyranny is rooted in the teachings of the Prophet, who sought to liberate humanity from oppression.
In a speech representing scholars and preachers, Sheikh Rajhi Mufleh affirmed that commemorating the Prophet's Birthday revives values of freedom and justice. He stressed that the nation must follow the Prophet's example to support the oppressed, viewing this as both a religious duty and a historical responsibility.
Hamadi Al-Alifi, the mobilization official in the eastern districts, spoke on the importance of celebrating the Mawlid as a means to reinforce resilience and steadfastness. He highlighted the necessity of maintaining readiness to confront modern-day tyrants who aim to extinguish the Muhammadan message and undermine the nation's identity and culture.
