Sanaa: The Faculties of Agriculture, Marine Sciences and Environment, Engineering, and Fine Arts at Al-Hodeidah University, together with the University Student Forum, organized a speech event to mark the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).
According to Yemen News Agency, University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Ahdal highlighted the significance of deriving values of sacrifice from Hussein's revolution. He emphasized the battle against enemies as one involving awareness and insight and urged adherence to the Revolution Leader's directives.
Dr. Ali Al-Bannawi, Dean of Engineering, reflected on the events of Karbala, drawing parallels between the path of Imam Hussein and the Yemeni people's stance against aggression. Dr. Izz al-Din Mu'adh, Vice President for Academic Affairs, underscored the youth's responsibility to enhance awareness and participate in "Al-Aqsa Flood" courses.
The Dean of Libraries, Dr. Abdullah Al-Qulaisi, discussed Imam Hussein's biography, asserting that Yemen's triumphs result from their connection to the Prophet's household. Concluding the event, Qasim Al-Qulaisi, Secretary of the Faculty of Fine Arts, reiterated the Yemeni people's commitment to dignity and honor, inspired by Imam Hussein's example.
