Cairo: Yemen Bodybuilding Federation President Najeeb Al-Joufi has secured the position of Vice President of the Arab Bodybuilding Federation. This development took place during the Arab Bodybuilding Federation elections held in the Republic of Egypt for the new term spanning 2025-2029.
According to Yemen News Agency, the elections were attended by the president of the International Bodybuilding Federation and representatives from 12 Arab countries, including Algeria, Syria, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Morocco, Libya, Iraq, Yemen, Palestine, and the host country, Egypt. Bahrain and Sudan were unable to attend but authorized the president of the Arab Federation to make decisions on their behalf.
Before the elections, the General Assembly of the Arab Federation approved the minutes of the previous meeting, the financial report, and the final account for the past period. Proposals submitted by the Executive Committee and member federations were also presented and approved.
