Al Karim, Al Soufi, & Al Qaoud Assess Medical Services in Abs District

Washington: The Acting Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, Ammar Al Karim, Governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al Soufi, and Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Nasser Al Qaoud, conducted an inspection of medical services in the Abs district. Their visit aimed to evaluate the quality of healthcare services provided to citizens across several medical facilities in the area.

According to Yemen News Agency, the officials, accompanied by other key health leaders, visited the Oncology Centre to review the ongoing rehabilitation work. They received updates on the completion rate and the efforts being made to equip the centre to better serve cancer patients. The goal is to alleviate patient suffering by enhancing the centre's capabilities.

The delegation also assessed the Dialysis Centre, focusing on the care provided to patients with kidney failure, and evaluated the resources needed to maintain uninterrupted treatment sessions. This was part of a broader review of the services offered by Abs General Hospital, where the visitors examined workflows and patient care standards across various departments.

During their visit, the officials exchanged Eid greetings with healthcare workers and patients, extending wishes for a speedy recovery to those receiving treatment. They acknowledged the dedication of the medical staff in Abs district, highlighting their commitment to providing essential medical services to both local citizens and displaced individuals amidst challenging conditions.

The officials reiterated the leadership's commitment to bolstering the health sector, ensuring the availability of necessary resources to enhance medical services in the region.
