Sanaa: The districts of Sanaa province witnessed massive protests today following Friday prayers, affirming the steadfastness and vigilance of the Yemeni people and the continuation of their supportive stance for the nation's causes.
According to Yemen News Agency, participants in the protests affirmed their adherence to positions supporting the nation's causes and confronting projects that target the region and its peoples, chanting slogans in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance, and denouncing the aggression on Gaza, Lebanon, and Iran.
They considered the American threats directed at the Sultanate of Oman a violation of international norms and an attack on the positions of independent states, declaring their full solidarity with the Sultanate, leadership and people, in the face of those threats.
They explained that American pressures aimed at expanding normalization in the region are an extension of attempts to impose political and military hegemony, pointing out that the peoples of the nation possess the awareness and will to maintain their positions and principles.
The people of Sanaa province renewed their steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause, backing the resistance axis states, and the nation's causes, affirming the continuation of mobilization, raising readiness, and enhancing community awareness to face current challenges, standing as one rank to defend the nation's interests and just causes.
A statement issued by the protests affirmed the continuation of the Yemeni position supporting the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, the resistance in Lebanon, and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and adherence to the equation of "unity of arenas" as an option that enhances confronting common challenges.
It considered the blessed Eid al-Adha an occasion to renew the pledge of supportive positions for the nation's causes, pointing out that steadfastness alongside the Palestinian people embodies the faith and humanitarian values carried by the people of Yemen, and that weapons are present and hands are on the trigger until victory is achieved.
The statement called on the peoples and states of the nation to adhere to their independent positions and enhance the factors of strength and unity in the face of hostile projects, affirming that the wise stance of the nation lies in jihad in the path of Allah.
The statement expressed deepest condolences to the Palestinian people and their fighters on the martyrdom of leader Mohammed Ouda, who was assassinated by the hands of the Zionist enemy on the eve of Eid al-Adha, affirming that the assassination crimes committed by the Zionist enemy reflect its ongoing aggressive approach against the Palestinian people and their leadership.
It renewed solidarity with the Sultanate of Oman regarding American threats, affirming the right of the region's states to defend their sovereignty and respond to any aggression targeting them, calling on the sons of the Yemeni people to interact widely with the occasion of the Guardianship Day (the glorious Eid al-Ghadeer), to participate in the events and activities associated with its revival, and to prepare for popular mobilization in the squares designated for them.
