Sana'a: The Deputy Minister of Local and Rural Administration and Development, Nasser Al-Mahdar, and the Governor of Shabwa, Awad Al-Awlaki, received the president and members of the Markha Youth Club in the capital, Sana'a. The club members have arrived to participate in the General League football championship for clubs of the Republic.
According to Yemen News Agency, during the meeting, Deputy Minister Al-Mahdar emphasized that the club's involvement in the championship symbolizes national unity across all districts and provinces. He acknowledged the dedication of the local authority in Shabwa to support and promote youth and sports activities. Al-Mahdar highlighted the importance of joint sports activities in fostering cohesion, unity, and social solidarity, urging for increased support for such initiatives.
Governor Al-Awlaki remarked that the participation of Markha Club's youth conveys a message of unity and brotherhood among Yemenis. He expressed his hopes for the club to excel and represent their province admirably in the championship. The director of Markha district, Mahdhar Al-Mahdhar, was also present at the meeting.
Abdulqader Al-Talibi, president of the Markha Youth Sports Club, expressed gratitude towards the Deputy Minister and Governor for their support and reception. He expressed optimism about the club's potential performance in the General League for clubs of the Republic.
